New Energy

Prof. Hiroki Ago

Distinguished Prof. Hiroki Ago

We are developing new synthesis methods of novel nanomaterials and applications to energy, environment, and electronics based on nanotechnology.

Our research focuses on nanocarbon materials, novel two-dimensional layered materials, and their heterostructures.

Energy saving devices and solar cells are fabricated from these new and unique nanomaterials. We are organizing a two-dimensional materials consortium, called “Nanofoundary (KOINE)”.

Throughout our intensive research activity, we would like to organize and take part in collaborative international projects.
